The information, instruction, and content provided by Amity Pilates (including studio sessions, private sessions, open studio access, and any associated online or printed materials) are for general fitness and educational purposes only and are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Before beginning any exercise program, please consult your doctor or qualified health professional to ensure Pilates is appropriate for your individual needs.
Participation in any open studio practise, private session, independent studio practise or at home practise, is voluntary and at your own risk.
While every effort is made to provide a safe and supportive environment, Amity Pilates and its instructors are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur through participation in any program or use of the studio facilities.
By booking or attending, you acknowledge that:

You understand that individual results vary and depend on consistency, effort, and overall health.

Use of the independent practice loft is limited to approved clients who have demonstrated safe and competent use of the apparatus.
All content on this website is the intellectual property of Amity Pilates and may not be reproduced or distributed without written permission.
Terms & Conditions
1. General
These Terms & Conditions govern participation in all classes, private sessions, independent practice sessions, workshops, and any other activities conducted by Amity Pilates.
By booking or attending, you agree to abide by these terms.
Amity Pilates reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions, class timetables, and pricing at any time. Updates will be published on our website & communicated with all members.
2. Health & Safety

Participation in Contrology (Classical Pilates) sessions is undertaken voluntarily and at your own risk.

You must inform your instructor of any injuries, medical conditions, pregnancies, or changes in health before participating.

Clearance from a medical or allied-health professional may be required before commencing or continuing training.

Clients are expected to follow instructor guidance and use equipment safely and as instructed.

Only approved clients may access and use the Independent Practice Loft. Misuse of apparatus may result in suspended access.
3. Bookings & Attendance

All sessions must be booked in advance via the Amity Pilates website or approved booking system.

Class numbers are limited to maintain quality and safety; please respect other members by attending your booked times.

Consistent attendance is encouraged to ensure steady progress and maintain your reserved space. Frequent cancellations and sporadic attendance may result in membership cancellation.

If you are unable to attend regularly, please communicate with the studio so your space may be offered to another client.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session. This helps our studio run as efficiently as possible and keep prices as low as possible.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of your scheduled time will be charged in full.

No-shows or repeated late cancellations may result in forfeited sessions or paused membership access.

If the studio cancels a class, you will receive credit or a rescheduled session.
5. Payments & Memberships

All pricing is inclusive of GST & additional fees.

A variety of payment options are available.
-
Subscription payments are processed through our secure, user-friendly online system.

Subscriptions renew weekly each Friday for classes the following week.

Automated direct transfer must be set up to to deposit each Friday so that it is line with the booking system cycle.

Direct cash transfers to be made by the end of each month paying for the month ahead.

Fees are non-refundable except where required by Australian Consumer Law.

To cancel or pause a membership, written notice must be provided in advance to avoid charges. Please make contact the week prior to pausing your membership.

No refunds are available if you cancel during a week you have paid for.

Public holidays do not reduce membership fees.

The studio may infrequently need to close unexpectedly due to illness or emergency. Communication will be made as early as possible with clients via email or text.

For business sustainability, memberships can be paused for a maximum of 6 weeks across the year. This does not include when the studio will close for annual holiday breaks (eg Christmas) where all memberships will be suspended.
6. Independent Practice Loft

Access is available only to approved clients who have demonstrated safe and competent use of classical apparatus.

The space is designed for independent, self-directed training — not for instruction. It is an unsupervised space.

Clients using this space must be attending at least 2 open studio sessions each week.
-
Please handle all equipment with care and return it to its original position after use.
-
Any damage caused by misuse may incur repair or replacement costs.
-
Studio etiquette applies at all times: silence, respect, cleanliness, and awareness of others.
7. Privacy
Your personal information is collected solely for administrative, communication, and safety purposes.
All information is kept confidential and will not be shared with or sold to third parties.
You may request access to or deletion of your data at any time by contacting the studio directly.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including class materials, text, images, and videos, is the intellectual property of Amity Pilates.
Reproduction or distribution without written permission is prohibited.
9. Code of Conduct

Respect others’ practice by keeping conversations quiet and the space tidy.

Wear clean, form-fitting clothing to allow safe observation of alignment.
-
No zippers or anything that can cut or damage the vinyl are to be worn on apparatus.
-
No strong perfumes, deodorants or creams with overpowering odour to be worn in studio.
-
Mobile phones must be silenced during sessions.
10. Community Values
Amity Pilates is a warm and supportive community of like-minded souls.
We’re deeply committed to maintaining a culture of kindness, respect, and mutual care.
To uphold this environment, we reserve the right to pause or end memberships where behaviour or communication compromises the safety or harmony of the studio community.
11. Agreement
By booking or attending classes, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
