Whether you're brand new to Classical Pilates or returning for a little extra support, these one-on-one sessions are the perfect way to deepen your understanding of the method and your own body.
Who Are These Sessions For?
We offer 1:1 Private Sessions to New Clients as an Introduction and
Current Clients as a refresher or check-in.
New Clients
Before joining Amity Pilates, you'll begin with an Introductory/Inquiry session to see if this style of training is for you.
Come and spend some time in the studio in a short private session with Gemma (owner & principle teacher at Amity) In this session you'll experience exercising on several different pieces of classical apparatus & getting a feel of how the studio works in open studio sessions.
This time will give both you and Gemma an opportunity to see if this style of training will suit you and your health and fitness goals before becoming a member.
These sessions are about you —
your body, your learning, your practice.

✔ Gain confidence before stepping into Open Studio
✔ Tailor your experience to your body’s needs & your personal goals
Following this session, most new students will have at least 1 more private session to learn the start of their personal program prior to joining an open studio class.

Current Clients
Need to refine your form, revisit a specific exercise, or simply check in with your practice? Private sessions are available as a one-off for any client seeking additional guidance and support.
These sessions are also designed for new students who have completed their initial introductory session and are ready to start to learn their personal program prior to joining an open studio session.

Our membership is designed with your success in mind
Like any dynamic skill, the more frequently you practise, the more natural that skill becomes. Learning a musical instrument, a new language, a new sport or reading and writing, they all require repetition until they start to develop a flow - this is where the joy and magic of the skill is felt - this is where you will reap the benefits of this incredible movement system.
All members are required to commit to a minimum of 2 session each week for safety and progression. if you find it hard to commit your time, this style of training may not suit your goals at the moment.
